Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston's biological daughter, still remains brain-dead and under a medically induced coma since she drowned from her bath tub last January 21, 2014. Nick Gordon, Bobbi's fiancé and step-brother, has been considered as the primary suspect in Bobbi's case. Authorities are currently conducting a criminal investigation on the case but have not arrested Gordon. Is Nick truly responsible for Bobbi's demise?
Over the past three months, Bobbi's father, Bobby Brown, and Bobbi's relatives Leola Houston, Pat Houston and Cissy Houston, have been visiting the 22-year old at the DeKalb Medical Facility. After being found in unconscious in her bath tub, she has been under a medically-induced coma, unresponsive and brain-dead for more than three months now. Doctors have given prognosis that Bobbi Brown might not be able to recover from her current state. However, Bobby is still hopeful that his daughter will gain consciousness and eventually recover from her health condition.
Amidst the Houstons' and Bobby Brown's frequent visits at the medical facility to look after Bobbi, Pat and Cissy Houston have lost hope on her recovery. Both have revealed that they wish to end Bobbi's life support and get it over with. However, Bobby refuses to abide by their suggestion. Bobby manifested that he will give his daughter every chance to fight for her life no matter how hopeless the situation may get. Some speculate that Cissy and Pat are more concerned with the Bobbi's inheritance that they will receive upon Bobbi's death which amounts to $20,000,000.
As Bobbi Brown remains confined in the medical facility, authorities point fingers at Nick Gordon as the primary suspect for Bobbi's fate. Reports revealed that Bobbi and Nick were both under the influence of heroin and cocaine before she was found unconscious last January. Nick, along with friend Max Lomas, were present during the incident. Lomas told authorities that Nick was acting strangely before Bobbi was drowned in her bathtub on that appalling morning. Additionally, he stated that Nick was cleaning blood stains off the floor before emergency response arrived at the scene. The doctor who examined Bobbi's body confirmed that there were, indeed, wounds on Bobbi's hands and face which she could not have acquired by drowning or by Nick's CPR.
Leola Brown, Bobbi's aunt, has spoken to the press about the incident and relayed that the Houstons and the rest of Bobbi's family and friends believe that Nick is responsible for her fate. Additionally, she said that authorities promised her that Nick would get arrested. However, despite the many doubtful facts surrounding the incident, Nick remains free and authorities have not made a move on him.
Following an intervention by Dr. Phil after the dreadful incident surfaced publicly, Nick Gordon is currently under rehab for three months. During such intervention, Dr. Phil made a diagnosis on Nick and decided that the man needed quick medical attention for consuming large amounts of alcohol and taking Xanax simultaneously. Furthermore, Nick also refused to drink water that, if left unattended, could lead to his kidney failure.
As Bobbi Kristina Brown continues to fight for her life with Bobby Brown, Cissy Houston, Pat Houston and the rest of her family by her side, should the authorities arrest Nick Gordon already? Post your comments below.
