Great news! 'Heroes' is returning for Season 5. It is titled 'Heroes: Reborn'. It was reported that it would return as a 13-episode miniseries. And some original cast will reprise their roles.
The show that captured the splendor of superheroes and comic books is now returning for another season. The 'Heroes' first season remains beloved by fans, and now Deadline reports that creator Tim Kring is bringing 'Heroes' back to NBC as a 13-episode miniseries event titled 'Heroes: Reborn'.
Furthermore, Kring believes that it's the perfect time to revisit the Heroes universe with a reboot, Heroes: Reborn, as TV series like Agents of SHIELD, Arrow, Gotham, Agent Carter, and yes, The Flash are in vogue, leading NBC.
Additionally, this limited run is set to air this year, with all new characters and storylines to appear online in a digital series before the new series premieres.
However, NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke that they are open for the possibility of bringing back the original cast.
And in a recent report for 'Heroes' Season 5, familiar faces will reprise their roles on the show. According to the report, Jimmy Jean-Louis will reprise his role as "The Haitian" on Heroes Reborn. If you can remember him, this is the man who could erase people's memories and block the use of other superpowers nearby.
Other than him, Jack Coleman is returning as Noah Bennet, and Masi Oka will once again play Hiro Nakamura in 'Heroes' Season 5.

"This highly anticipated 13-episode miniseries will reconnect with the basic elements of the show's first season where ordinary people were waking up to the fact that they had extraordinary abilities. However, the question remains, will the show gain a smoother road than its previous seasons? Fans, are hoping that the show will not disappoint them. It can be remembered that after becoming an almost immediate hit for NBC in Fall of 2006, 'Heroes' dropped significantly in the ratings over the past couple seasons. Fans have complained about the storylines but the TV show has been one of the network's biggest draws in the 18-49 demographic.
