League of Legends Patch 5.7 features significant changes to the game's characters and gameplay. For the most part, the standard update features the usual balancing tweaks to its roster of champions, visual reworks, and new skins.
This week brings new patch updates from Riot Games' League of Legends, with Ultra Rapid Fire still in effect from previous patch notes. The League of Legends Patch 5.7 standard update features significant changes to Bard and Blitzcrank, with little more adjustments from the rest of the roster. Bard's adjustments include an increase in Base AD, Q damage, and Armor, Chimes grant more mana, and a respawn increase in Meeps. Blitzcrank's W is now on burst mode which slows him down a little after it's over. Fizz gets a nerf adjustment to lessen his significant advantage over everybody.
Patch 5.7 minor adjustments include tweaks to Garen's Ultimate Will, Hecarim's regen, Kassadin's Empowered stack duration, and Maokai and Nidalee's health.
New skins will also be released at various times during Patch 5.7.
Rek'Sai's Queen's Wrath will take a slight damage nerf but will compensate with a better cooldown rate. Shen's cooldown rate has also been adjusted, and Tristana's new trait Ultimate Rapid Fire encourages players to strategize with the new adjustment.
In related news, this year's League of Legends World Championship will be held in four major cities across Europe. Riot Games will host a series of tournaments in Paris, London, Brussels and Berlin in a 5week period starting in October. This year's Finals will be held on Halloween in the Mercedez Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany. League of Legends World Championship starts this October in Le Dock Pullman, Paris.
The League of Legends Patch 5.7 release features major and minor tweaks for the game, new skins, and bug fixes. The Patch update gives players ample time to practice before another update can come out. Players can be well adjusted by the time October rolls around.
Riot Games' League of Legends is notable for patch upgrades in that a complete overhaul is not necessary, where players have to grope around in the dark in order to adjust to the changes. The standard update gives players the room to navigate the new changes and to develop new strategies for their champion's playability.
