Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set for release on September 1, 2015 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360. Hideo Kojima remains committed to the franchise despite controversy involving Kojima Production and Konami. This will be the last MGS game that he will be involved with as Konami oust him out of the franchise.
Developed by Kojima Productions, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released starting on September 1st, 2015 in North and Latin America and then Europe. On the September 2nd Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be release in Japan and Asia. And currently in development for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. But for PC gamers to get their hands on Snake's latest adventure, they will have to wait another two weeks, until September 15.
As a sequel to Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Hideo Kojima said that the Phantom Pain is slated to be his last Metal Gear game, however, Konami is already working on a new Metal Gear game, and hiring for the project. Hideo Kojima stated, "I want to reassure fans that I am 100% involved and will continue working on METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN; I'm determined to make it the greatest game I've directed to date. Don't miss it!"
