'Despicable Me 3' Plot, Premiere: Agnes jealous over Gru and Lucy’s new baby? A new villain introduced

By

"Despicable Me 3" premieres on June 30, 2017 and no news about a plot or synopsis for the upcoming movie have been revealed by Illumination and Universal Studios. The second sequel of the blockbuster movie may not be available for its legion of followers any time soon but this will never prevent fans from speculating and exploring possible plot ideas for the movie.

One of the plot angles being explored for the upcoming film is the possibility of Gru and Lucy having a baby. It has been several years since the release of the first sequel "Despicable Me 2", and if the film would start with the latest events from the first sequel, Gru will most likely be facing more parenthood problems by now. The three girls' arrival in Gru's life was quite a whirlwind and chaos of sorts. Another child in the story - a baby this time around, will definitely bring a different kind of cinematic fun for followers of the movie.

The possibility of one or two girls leaving Gru for college is one of the popular plot predictions for the upcoming "Despicable Me 3." Agnes might be in her teen years by the time the movie is released, while Edith and Margo will mostly likely be young adults ready for college. Gru, dealing with the girls leaving one by one to discover the world as adults, would be another exciting plot for the movie. Gru being the protective father he is, might be sending missions and minions to check out on his girls creating comedy and conflict in the film.

Meanwhile, the 2017 release of the second sequel for the movie was quite a surprise considering the back-to-back success of the two earlier movies of the franchise. The first "Despicable Me" movie generated more than $500 million worldwide, while "Despicable Me 2" earned almost a billion dollars worldwide.

On the other hand, a new villain will definitely be introduced in the upcoming movie. One of the suspected potential villains to appear in the film is El Macho's son. He suddenly disappeared in the first sequel of the movie and a revenge for his father's capture is an acceptable angle to look forward to when "Despicable 3" will be released in 2017.

Steve Carrel, Russel Brand, Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier and Elsie Kate Fisher are expected and confirmed to be reprising their roles in the upcoming "Despicable Me 3" movie. The movie will premiere on June 30, 2017 under Illumination and Universal Studios.
