Pitch Perfect 3 Movie Update: Rebel Wilson confirms sequel happening: Who else will be with her?

By

Pitch Perfect 3 is going to happen! You heard that right. While Pitch Perfect 2 is yet to hit the big screen on the 15th of May, you would be pleased to know that another sequel is already on queue.

Peter Cramer, the Universal co-President of Production, informs that Pitch Perfect 3 is a possibility should the sequel to come this summer do well. The exact words said on EW are: "We're definitely starting to think about it but we don't know specifically what it would be just yet." For music lovers and PP fans, however, an unmade plot will not stop the excitement. The fact that you will be rendered with another set of a cappella and mashup tunes is enough good news.

Discovering the cast for Pitch Perfect 3 is still a long way to go. Nonetheless, you can expect Rebel Wilson to stay and play as Fat Amy. She reported this to Amy Kaufman from the LA Times, who posted on Twitter, noting that Kendrick still has not yet confirmed.

Do not fret, though, since there remains a chance to keep the Barden Bellas intact for the third part. They would become seniors in Pitch Perfect 2, which is under the direction of Elizabeth Banks. You might think "who would be left for Pitch Perfect 3 once they graduate?"

Well, three of the cast members whose characters supposedly graduated after the first movie such as Anna Camp (Aubrey), Brittany Snow (Chloe), and Adam Devine (Bumper) are brought back. This can give hope that Director Elizabeth Banks would still use the characters you love, albeit graduates, to keep on singing in perfect pitch once the film starts being made.

Moreover, how do you think will the movie be affected if main characters like Anna Kendrick would no longer be in the picture? Share your thoughts in the comments section.

What do you think will Pitch Perfect 3 be about?
