The cast of 'Teen Wolf Season 5' welcomes new characters, foe and allies alike as a new promo clip for the upcoming premiere of the MTV series is released recently.
A teaser video for the upcoming 'Teen Wolf Season 5' was released last Sunday, April 12 revealed a new set of villains about to embark and bring chaos to Beacon Hills this coming season 5. It features Scott McCall and his new pack, Stiles, Liam, Lydia, Malia and Dr.Deaton. A creepy voice featured in the video said "The rules have changed." A different kind of danger awaits our favorite Beacon Hills pack as three new strangers, assumed to be the latest villain in the season, comes to town.
Fortunately, as new foes arrive in town, a possible new ally will be welcomed in Scott McCall's Pack. Cody Christian, "Pretty Little Liars" alumni, lands in the role of Theo, an athletic senior high to enter Beacon Hills. He is described a lone wolf in search of a pack, athletic, charming and covert and has a past that may actually bring a different kind of light, or darkness in the series. He is expected to be joining or competing with Liam to become the Omega in Scott McCall's wolf pack.
Several reports about the possible plot of the upcoming Teen Wolf Season 5 includes the arrival of a "creature of the dark." It was easy to assume that a new kind of monster is about to be highlighted in the upcoming season. Unfortunately, with Tyler Hoechlin's departure from the show, exploring a plot with a new creature or monster in mind becomes incomplete for this season.
Executive producer Jeff Davis announced that Derek, Hoechlin's character is the show will still be appearing every now and then in the show but will not be a regular cast in the season anymore. In the last episode of the season 4 of 'Teen Wolf' Derek transformed into a wolf, a mystery that was thought to be the main plot to be explored in Season 5.
The Desert Wolf and Parrish Church's identity still remains as a mystery, but with the recently revealed trailer, it seems that the season is about to lean into the supernatural beings within Beacon Hills. An exploration on new monsters outside the town may seem too farfetched in the early episodes of the series.
With 20 episodes rumored for the return of the 'Teen Wolf' Season 5, and new villains to watch out for, it will not be a surprise to see followers of the series holding on tight on their seats as the series returns on MTV this coming June 29, 2015.
