Did veteran actor Dennis Quaid acted too much? Reports suggested his viral explicit video was staged and just a drama.
Sixty one year-old Dennis Quaid, a respected actor and known to be a good man to his colleague, recently showed a different side of himself. In a leaked video posted in Youtube, which has more than 1 million views, Dennis was seen showing his b1east side. The 44-second video displayed wild behavior of violence and explicit language from the actor.
Quaid, in the video, was shouting on people off-cam in a set of a project he was presumed to be a part of. "What the f--k? Keep going!" Quaid screamed. "I am acting and this d---head wanders on to my set," he continued.
Someone off-cam then uttered Dennis' name trying to calm him down. This however made the situation worse as Dennis angrily shouted, "Don't f--king 'Dennis' me. I am doing my job here. I am a pro! This is the most unprofessional set I have ever been on!"
This was the actor's last line in the video as the capturer then took his camera away from the angry actor. The last scene showed Dennis approaching the person who was filming him.
The video ended with audio suggesting Quaid walked-out of the scene and left the set alone. There are no further details on when the video was taken.
Fans of Quaid however speculated that the video was a hoax. A lot of comments in the video suggested that Quaid's acts which were caught on camera were staged.
Coincidentally, Sony's Crackle made an announcement that Dennis will be a part of a series titled 'The Art of More'. The former failed to disclose further details on the series.
Some fans also speculated that Dennis' video might be a scene from the actor's current film of 'Truth'. The movie was directed by screenwriter Jame Vanderbilt. This will be James' first project on directing.
The movie revolves around the scandal involving former US president George Bush and journalist Dan Rather. Dennis was joined by actress Cate Blanchett, Robert Redford, Topher Grace, and Elisabeth Moss.
Asked about the viral video, Dennis gave a very short answer, saying "Oh, I'm not gonna talk about that."
