Project CARS Releases 12K Resolution for PC platform; 1080p for PS4, 900p for Xbox One slated for May

Slated for a May release, Project CARS recently announced that the gameplay can support high resolutions of up to 12K for PC platform. For the other platforms, the game can support 1080p, 900p, for PS4 and Xbox One consoles, respectively.

Slightly Mad Studios recently announced details about the upcoming game, which will arrive by next month. According to them, the frame rates for Project CARS will be as gorgeous as expected. Previously, there were reports about the possible graphics comparing to 2013's Assetto Corsa.

Relative to this was an earlier report citing that Slightly Mad Studios has mentioned about their aim of having their game running for consoles with 1080p.

Based from the report, it was even stated that the fans could really expect much more improved graphic quality for Project CARS, which means that, the game developer has made it sure that this particular expectation would be made possible for their fans.

Thus, proved from the sources gathered, that the game will really have the high resolution visual appearance required for the game with 12K for the PC version, which can be adjusted in accord to every user's needs since it's highly dependent to the hardware.

With the other two current generation consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, they will have 1080p and 90p, respectively, which both of them have 60 fps.

Though they weren't successful with developing the 1080p goal for all platforms of Project CARS, since they are able to make it in PC version, still they remained confident with the graphic quality for the consoles.

Moreover, they will also be releasing a Wii U version of the game, with which the resolution and the further details will be announced by the game developer sometime after.

Slightly Mad also said that the won't be featuring a split-screen mode all throughout the gameplay, saying, "In order to achieve the target of 60 frames per second, there is no split-screen mode," they said.

They also added that they won't be releasing an old-generation console version for the game since it doesn't deliver good quality in terms of technical specifications, which may affect the graphics of the game.

Scheduled to launch in PS4, Xbox One, PC platforms, Project CARS will be released by May.
