"Diamonds" singer Rihanna was allegedly caught snorting cocaine in a viral Vine video that surfaced yesterday. The leaked video was taped while she's partying with friends at Coachella music festival. It shows Riri holding a slim white object like a straw and squeezing her nose for several seconds.
Quick to deny rumors, the Barbadian singer immediately responded in the comments section: "N---- your lame ass got some f------ nerve!!! Any fool could see that's a joint that I'm basing with cigarette! Who snorts tobacco??!! FOH witcho 'never been to a rodeo so someone squeezing their nose means they're doing coke' lookin ass!!"
The video was immediately removed from Instagram , which was according to reports, uploaded by user fly.xhuksta, but not before the singer dropped the defensive comeback.
As a retort, Rihanna later posted on Instagram a new video showing what she really intended to do: rolling a cigarette. The clip shows a girl clad in pink partying with the singer. Riri also posted a photo of her sipping a can of Coca-Cola with a caption "#pretty" as a reference for the viral video.
Rihanna releases new video for "American Oxygen"
Shortly after slamming the cocaine rumors, the singer surprised fans on Thursday by releasing her newest video for the single "American Oxygen." The video is politically-charged and entails the country's history, showing historical footage of iconic American moments including Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement, protests over immigration reform and police brutality, the Beatles domination, fury on Wall Street, the "9/11" tragedy, space exploration, and among others. The music video received a positive response from the social media users as they deemed it as "powerful," "important," and "iconic."
Celebrities are always dragged on the issue of using drugs. Photos and video leaks are rampant, and some are getting away with it without a pestering from haters. Do you think Rihanna is telling the truth? Decide for yourself.
