‘Jurassic World’ Movie Update: First Clip and New Movie Stills

By

The fourth installment to "Jurassic Park" film series is nearing its US release on June 12 and it's just about time to have a sneak peek. Universal Studios has released the first clip from the movie featuring a conversation between Owen Grady, portrayed by Christ Pratt, and Claire Dearing, played by Bryce Dallas Howard.

The 90-second exclusive clip, which was released via MTV, is devoid of dragons but does offer an insight between the two leads. It also shows some relationship with banter and indicates some reasons why the first date of the leads didn't work out.

Two new stills were also released by Universal Pictures on the movie's official Facebook page. One features Bryce Dallas Howards' character Claire Dearing seated in a JW helicopter, likely arriving to Isla Nublar. Another is from Irrfan Khan (plays Simon Masrani), observing the new Indominus Rex Paddock. It was also associated with a quote on the image: "The greatest thing we must learn in life is that nothing is impossible."

"Jurassic World" is set twenty-two years after the events of Steven Spielberg's 1993 "Jurassic Park" movie based from the 1990 hit novel of the same title by American best-selling author Michael Crichton. The film was initially intended to begin production in 2004 for a release the following year, but was pushed back for several release dates due to the numerous revisions of the script.

It is set to be released in North America on June 12 and it opens in 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters. Apart from the leads, the film also stars Ty Simpkins as Gray (Insidious, Iron Man 3), Jake Johnson as Lowery (Let's Be Cops, "New Girl"), Nick Robinson as Zach (The Kings of Summer), Omar Sy as Barry (X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Intouchables), Irrfan Khan as Simon Masrani (Life of Pi, The Amazing Spider-Man) and among others.
