Metal Gear Solid Movie Update: Hideo Kojima eyes for Hugh Jackman to play as Solid Snake? Jordan Vogt-Roberts gets behind director’s chair

One noteworthy establishment that had an adjustment on a low priority status for a considerable length of time is Metal Gear Solid, a brand that now has a motion picture in progress (once more).

The voice performing artist behind Metal Gear Solid hero Solid Snake, David Hayter (and author of X-Men), reaffirmed the formative obstacles for Metal Gear Solid almost a large portion of after a year, clarifying that the film would not be getting up and go until Sony and inventor Hideo Kojima could go to an assention.

Skip forward more than two years to present, and amid Konami's 25th commemoration party for the Metal Gear establishment today, Kojima went ahead stage, joined by Avi Arad (ex-Marvel CEO and maker of most Marvel movies) to make an uncommon declaration.

In May 2006, Hideo Kojima declared that a film adjustment of Metal Gear Solid was being developed. The film was indicated to be in English, however a discharge date was not expressed. In January 2010, it was declared that the motion picture has been slowed down, with the film's maker saying that improvement likely won't proceed.

On the other hand, on August 30, 2012, it was uncovered that the film is back underway, and will be created by previous Marvel Entertainment CEO Avi Arad.

The cutting edge Metal Gear Solid motion picture from Sony Pictures is pushing ahead. Reports uncovered that Sony is in "right on time talks" with The Kings of Summer executive Jordan Vogt-Roberts to direct the film, which will be taken care of by Spider-Man maker Avi Arad and Sony Pictures.

There's no word yet on plot or who will play Solid Snake. Kojima said he was already looking at X-Men star Hugh Jackman for the part, however it was later chosen to cast an unspecified newcomer. Kojima himself is chipping away at the Metal Gear Solid motion picture in a supervisory part.

The Metal Gear Solid movie is slated for release on 2017.
