Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 continues to give off minute details of the game through cryptic videos, trailers and snapchats as its viral campaign amaze and mystify anxious fans. Though the official "worldwide" reveal of the game is set on April 26, 2015, Treyarch officially confirms through the Activision blog that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released this year.
Hype for the new Call of duty Black ops title came when its first official trailer showed cryptic messages and hidden real location coordinates. A total of three coordinates were shown in the trailer and can be traced via Google Earth to set in Zurich, Egypt and Singapore. A Vg147 post traced one of these coordinates on Google and found out that it is the location of the "6th of October Bridge," which commemorates the Yom Kippur War in 1973.
Though Treyarch is silent on game details, it can be assumed that a scenario would involve this location. Whether it signifies a return to that period in time, where the Egyptian army battled against Israeli forces over the Sinai desert or just a reference to the conflict that continues to rage in the Middle East is uncertain. However one can deduce that the Middle East is one of the major locations in the game.
Further fueling this mysterious teasers are snapchat links pointing to videos showing disturbing experiments made by Dr. Salim on human subjects. One of these snapchat videos show a scene in what seemed to be the Vietnam War giving another hint on the story of this new COD title.
Details for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is still sparse, but Treyarch tells fans that the game will be set in a dark, twisted future. This was also included in the official Call of Duty Black Ops 3 website as reported by vg247.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the first title for next-gen hardware in the critically acclaimed Black Ops series. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldiers emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare.
The text continues on, revealing in particular a zombie mode for the game.
