Kate Middleton pregnancy update: Duchess to have a baby girl? 3 hospitals on standby

By

Kate Middleton may give birth to a baby girl by mid or end of April. Three hospitals have been chosen to attend to the Duchess of Cambridge as she delivers her second baby.

PRINCE GEORGE'S LITTLE SISTER?

According to a report, designer Annie Sloan has delivered paint samples of lilac, pink and red colors to the family's country home at Anmer Hall where the nursery is located. This means that Prince William and Kate Middleton could be having a baby girl. The royal couple are said to have no knowledge on the baby's gender and they want it to come as a surprise just like their first baby Prince George. However, the report added that Pippa Middleton, Kate's sister, tossed a baby shower that was filled with pink stuff such as a cake with strawberry filling, pink cupcakes and cocktails. Many are also anticipating as to what exact date the baby is due. If it is on April 21, this will be the same as the Queen's birthday. An April 29 delivery meanwhile will fall on the couple's wedding anniversary.

3 HOSPITALS ON STANDBY

Meanwhile, Kensington Palace has arranged 3 hospitals where the Duchess could possibly deliver her baby. The first choice is the Lindo wing of St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington where she gave birth to George. If problems arise, the second choice would be the Royal Berkshire Hospital while the other back-up is Adenbrook'es Hospital in Cambridge. All are said to be ready including security. Media will not be allowed to camp outside the hospital.

The medical team is also prepared to assist in the delivery which according to a report is the same that handled the birth of Prince George. Kate will be taken care of by Alan Farthing and Guy Thorpe-Beaston from St. Mary's Hospital.

Updates on Kate Middleton's pregnancy are anticipated by the whole world as another royal baby arrives.
