Taylor Swift may stop writing broken-hearted songs as of now as she's beginning again with beau Calvin Harris with her best friend Ed Sheeran's seal of approval on the relationship. The "Thinking Out Loud" crooner, 24, was asked his opinion by ZM Online at the backstage of his show in Auckland, New Zealand whether the Scottish DJ and Swift is a good match. "He's cool. He's a nice guy. A really, really nice guy."
The "Summer" DJ is Swift's first boyfriend in two years after breaking her dating hiatus. When Ed Sheeran was asked on his seal of approval, he added: "There are certain people that are just nice people in the industry."
The Grammy-nominated singer continued that he and the DJ met possibly a year ago, as Sheeran is vague of the exact extent. When one of the hosts then asked how the DJ got so "hot," Sheeran jokingly responded: "I think people blossom, so I'm still waiting."
Ed Sheeran's Break Up With Athina Andrelos
Meanwhile, while Swift-Harris relationship is blossoming, the "Don't" singer recently announced a break up from his girlfriend of one year, Athina Andrelos, on an Australian radio show. In the interview, he detailed his relationship status and confirmed that he is finally single.
Moreover, another one of Swift's best friends Jaime King opens up about the American sweetheart's relationship with Harris. In an interview with E News, Kings said: "He's a wonderful man," and continued that Harris is a beautiful man.
The "Style" songstress and the "Blame" DJ have been romantically linked since attending the BRIT Awards in February, and later they were spotted in March getting snuggly at Kenny Chesney's concert in Nashville, Tennessee. Recently, the 31-year-old musician was photographed grabbing for Swift's hand outside West Hollywood's Troubadour Club, where girl group Haim were performing.
