The Voice Season 8 live shows are heating up as the Top 10 showdown airs on NBC Monday night.
NBC reports that Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera's teams are intact with Corey Kent White, Hannah Kirby, Meghan Linsey, India Carney, Kimberly Nichole, and Rob Taylor in the Top 10.
Team Pharrell Williams is still in the running with Sawyer Fredericks and Koryn Hawthorne.
Team Adam Levine got to keep Joshua Davis, and Deanna Johnson who was saved by #Save Deanna tweets, the new "save" measure on the show as the judge-mentors no longer have saving powers. Johnson got the nod of Twitterverse after she sang Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain" and Adam pleading for America to vote for Deanna, "a girl with so much talent, yet so little confidence."
Adam however was reportedly shocked by the loss of Brian Johnson in the eliminations.
Teenage sensation Mia Z of Team Pharrell was also eliminated last week.
The predictions boards are also heating up, and the most recent hits and misses were about contestant Hannah Kirby.
The Gold Derby which runs prediction contests on which contestant will remain or leave The Voice had leading bets on Hannah Kirby leaving the show last week. The derby was won by Denton Davidson, who is reportedly "shocked" by the outcome of the Derby, not the Voice.
Davidson pointed out that predictions should note that Kirby had the strongest following on the all-important Twitter-verse, next only to White who had 56k followers, and Fredericks with 32k followers. Kirby's pre-Top 20 performance following was only 5k but it has since surged to 31,000 followers.
Meanwhile Judge Blake, the mentor with the most number of champions on The Voice winning 4 out of 7 seasons, has revealed his idea of who can replace him if he ever decides to take a break from the show. Associated Press reports that Blake considers fellow country music star Luke Bryan as a good replacement.
The Voice Season 8 live shows air on NBC Mondays at 8pm.
