Paris Hilton is in grief after her dog passed away on Tuesday. Despite the sadness, the celebrity still did not lose her fashion sense as she paid a tribute to her beloved pet.
STILL IN STYLE
On her Instagram page, Paris Hilton devoted her recent posts to Tinkerbell, a Chihuahua who died of old age. The dog was 14 years old. The socialite said her heart is broken and she feels sad and devastated because Tinkerbell was like a family. She always went with Paris in the events she attended.
"She was such a special & incredible soul. We went through so much together. I can't believe she's gone. I will miss her & think about her for the rest of my life. I love you Tinky, you are a Legend & will never be forgotten," the caption said with a picture of her carrying her pet.
The hotel heiress went on to post more of her happy memories with Tinkerbell. It showed a picture of Paris wearing a tiara while posing with her dog who was also dressed up prettily. Expressions of sympathy poured in from her followers while hate messages were not avoided. Another post showed a picture of her and her sister Nicky with Tinkerbell in their reality TV show The Simple Life. "Where our journey began," the caption said. She also showed how Tinky lived a glamorous life being part of some shoots for the clothing brand Guess. She also posted different animated faces of Tinkerbell as a fabulous little lady and princess.
GOOD TIMES
A source says the Hilton family have chosen to focus on their happy memories with the dog. Tinkerbell was said to be 72 years old in dog years. The dog was not seen in public for the past few months but Paris has earlier assured fans that Tinkerbell was fine.
Paris adopted Tinkerbell, her first dog, from an online breeding site. In 2004, the dog was robbed at Paris' house but was returned 6 days after the hotel heiress offered a $5000 bounty.
Paris Hilton may have plenty of other dogs but Tinkerbell will always be a fashion legend that she would also rather mourn in a fashionable way.
