'WWE 2K15' will be heading to the PC, along with some free DLC

By

PC gamers who have been waiting a long time for a quality wrestling game now have their wishes granted as the PC version of "WWE 2K15" has been officially announced.

The version coming to the PC will closely resemble the one released for the Xbox One and Playstation 4, so fans who have gotten used to playing the game on these platforms won't have to adjust for the newest version should they choose to get it. Fans who will purchase the game for the PC will also be glad to know that the legendary Hulk Hogan and the Icon, Sting, will also be playable as soon as the game is ready. Both Sting and Hulk Hogan were pre-order bonuses, according to Gamespot.

PC gamers who buy the game on the very day it is released will also be rewarded by receiving two versions of both Hulk Hogan and Sting, according to IGN. As good as this news may already be to both wrestling and video games, the best part of the new announcement may be the fact that all the content contained in the DLC packs previously released for the console versions of the game will be immediately available for the PC version, according to WWE.com.

The best part is that all of the new content will come absolutely free of charge. The sum total of all that free content coming via what was previously known as downloadable content is 36 new characters, four new managers, 46 single-player stories, and 26 additional matches.

WWE Superstar John Cena commented on the new content bundled together with the upcoming PC version of the game.

"It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that that's a pretty awesome deal," said Cena. Cena is also the cover boy for the game.

No official release date has been given for the PC version of "WWE 2K15," but 2K Sports said it is "only weeks away."
