While waiting for Rise of the Tomb Raider, Android game is gaining its popularity especially with Lara Croft in it.
Earlier this month, Crystal Dynamics has revealed its new game called, "Relic Run." However, it's only at its soft launch in the Netherlands, although with the purpose to find areas for improvement prior to going worldwide.
The developer shared in their blog, "We've soft launched on iOS and Android in The Netherlands... and we encourage our Dutch fans to give the game a try. You'll be helping us ensure all the kinks are ironed out and the game is optimized for the full launch."
The developer has teamed up with Square Enix as well as Simutronics in order to make the game as unique and enjoyable as possible.
While Temple Run is a fun game, Relic Run will be a boring copycat if it had no distinctive features apart from Lara Croft being the main character.
Fortunately, the endless running is only the superficial aspect of the game as this Temple Run style platform comes with a lot of marvellous acrobatics, obstacles and bosses that the player must guide Lara Croft through.
Suffice to say, Square Enix will be able to take its time in creating Rise of the Tomb Raider because many gamers will likely be pre-occupied with this adventure. According to TechTimes, Relic Run can be expected to be available for the entire world to play within this year.
Rise of the Tomb Raider, on the other hand, will also have an exclusive release for Xbox One within this year, but the release on other platforms will require some patience as it is set for 2016.
More updates await the Rise of The Tomb Raider Temple Run Style version entitled, "Relic Run," on the other hand, will be released sooner. It should be mentioned that players should prepare themselves for the fact that Lara Croft will be facing off with the T-Rex, too. That's just one of the many obstacles in the game.
