The internet is buzzing with excitement as news of a revival of the show "Full House" started circulating. The show, which is dubbed "Fuller House," is reportedly going to be some sort of a reunion since most of its original cast members will be reprising their roles. But not everyone is coming back though. It seems that the Olsen twins, and some key cast members might not be coming back.
The show aired its first episode in September 22, 1987 and ended in May 23, 1995, with a total of eight seasons and 192 episodes. It became very popular and helped launch the careers of most of its cast members. The most notable were the twins Mary Kat and Ashley Olsen, who alternately played the role of the show's youngest daughter Michelle. Full House paved the way for the Olsen twins' movie careers that lasted for quite some time until they decided to lie low and concentrate in the fashion industry.
News of the Full House reboot started circulating in August 2014 and was finally confirmed this year. Netflix is said to air the show which will now be called "Fuller House." Confirmed cast members who will be reprising their roles are Candace Cameron-Bure as D. J. Tanner, Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner, Andrea Barber as Kimmie Gibbler, and John Stamos in a guest role. The Olsen twins, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, and Lori Loughlin have not yet been confirmed. But this does not necessarily mean that they will not be part of the show entirely.
The Olsen twins, in an interview, stated that they were not aware of the reboot plans and that they have yet to talk to the show's creators about it. It's still too early to assume that the said cast will not be coming back, though, so fans of the show are still hopeful.
Scheduled to premier on Netflix sometime 2016, Fuller House is said to air 13 episodes, this time focusing on the grown-up Tanner daughters. Until then, we'll just have to wait and see which cast members are coming back or not.
