Ramjit Raghav, a 96 year-old farmer in India, credits his healthy lifestyle as a vegetarian teetotaler and a healthy sex drive, for his status as the world's oldest father, according to The Times of India.
He's also making up for lost time, since Raghav claims to have been celibate until ten years ago, when he met his wife, Shakuntala Devi, 52, ABC News reported. The two live 31 miles northwest of Delhi.
The two gave birth to a baby boy on Oct. 5, Ranjeet, breaking Raghev's previous record as the world's oldest father two years earlier, when the couple gave birth to their first son, Vikramjeet.
"I didn't take any performance enhancers ... I just prayed to go to complete my family, either a boy or a girl," Raghev said in an interview posted online as reported by ABC News.
According to the Daily Mail, Ramjit claimed it was "God's wish" for him to have another child and he wants the two boys to grow up to "become high ranking government workers."
Raghav's age is recorded in the Haryana government's social welfare department as 96 years old, The Times of India reported, although ABC News added that it could not confirm the information.
"After staying together, we decided to extend our family and aspired for two sons. With God's grace, our wish has been fulfilled," Raghav said.
