After a brief two-week hiatus, Hawaii Five-0 returns on Friday with all-new episodes dwindling down to this season's finale. The April 24 episode's title, "Ho'amoano" which is Hawaiian for "Chasing Yesterday" speaks much of what are about to happen in the weeks to follow on Adam and Kono's future as a married couple.
This Friday's episode is the first of the last four before the two-hour finale and fans anticipate to see what becomes of Adam and Kono with their upcoming wedding after secrets from the past are uncovered.
Many believe that a wedding is sure to ensue but it is interesting to note that it may not be the case considering the apprehensions Kono feels towards the business Adam's dad pursues. She expresses concerns over his partnership with his Father and how Adam keeps himself busy cleaning matters off. Furthermore, issues where the money comes from to fund the venture is something Kono cannot make peace with. Aside from that, Adam in is also against Kono's job particularly the dangers she encounters every day.
A recent interview with Grace Park about the likelihood of a wedding reveals that there is a huge chance it pushes through on May 8, the season finale air date. "Everything's quite good with that relationship.. It's not like she's needing to sow oats with anyone. I think she finally thinks that it is a good time.." Park explains. However, she hints something may come and teases on what could possibly mess the wedding up.
Moreover, the plot for Episode 22 revolves around the help unit Five-0 extends to a married male couple who find themselves with a dead woman in their hotel room. Despite being convinced that they are not responsible for her death, the two have memories of what transpires at the night of one wild party.
