'Sims 4' fans express desire for new expansion pack to be introduced together with their chosen features

By

Hot on the heels of the "Get to Know" expansion pack released earlier this month, fans of "The Sims 4" are already letting EA know exactly what they want to see in the next expansion pack to come for the next game.

Fans of the game made their voices heard through a recent EA survey. It certainly appears as though players have some very specific ideas for what they want the next expansion pack to have, according to the International Business Times.

Notable requests coming from the players include not only the ability to create the ideal pet, but also the opportunity to have this created creature enter talent contests. Players also want their Sims to have clearer career definitions that will either lead them on the way to success or failure. They also want their Sims to obtain luxury items that are accessible only after they have amassed enough wealth in the game.

One other interesting suggestion coming from the players is the addition of season-specific locations such as beaches. These are all suggestions for now, and EA is certainly not obligated to include any of the suggestions, but now the company knows exactly what their fans want.

If the "Get to Work" expansion pack is any indication, then it seems as though EA is at least capable of including some of the suggested changes. The most recent expansion pack brought back the option to start and own retail businesses in the game, according to Gaming Nexus. From there, the leap to more defined career options is not too much of a stretch so it appears as though this kind of change is within the realm of possibility.

Aside from the return of retail businesses, the expansion pack has also given players the chance to pursue possible careers as either scientists, doctors, or police officers, according to PC Advisor.

As of now, EA has not confirmed any plans for an additional expansion pack for the game.
