Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is coming and its one hell of an expansion pack for the Final Fantasy franchise. Fans will find it more entertaining as well as more challenging, with new races, dungeons, and locations, just to name a few.

The latest expansion pack for the Final Fantasy title will be arriving sooner than we thought and we hear it's a collector's edition, with plenty of new things to get hard core fans busy and giddy. Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward will now be featuring a more complicated gameplay that aims to reveal answers and enlightenment on the previous game's ending. It also boasts of new races, new raids, lots of new dungeons, locations, beasts and tribes, and, yes, dragons! The games will also be featuring airships and other flying mounts. So expect a lot of aerial battles and flying.

The game will feature two key plots in the game's storyline. One is The Dragonsong War, the war between Dravania and Ishgard. It here that the player, as a Warrior of Light, will have the chance to help end the conflict. The other key plot is The Wyrmking versus Thordan and his Knights Twelve.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward will feature and additional race, the Au Ra. This race has reptilian features, horns and scales and tails are typical. Their style has a wide range, from "cool" to "tough". Probably the most exciting addition to this expansion pack is the fact that players can now use flying mounts, especially the dragons that can land and take off anywhere in the game's areas. There are also a lot of airships that players can eventually acquire throughout the game.

Another exciting addition is the new locations featured in this Final Fantasy expansion pack. For the first time in FF history, players can now access The Holy See of Ishgard. In fact, some of the most important battles for the player will be fought in Ishgard. Another exciting new location is Dravanian Forelands, largely populated by beast tribes.

With all these new additions to the Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward expansion, gamers will happily be twiddling away in their consoles. Set for release on June 23, 2015, catch the game on PS3 and PS4, as well as on PC.
