"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is one of the most anticipated movies to hit the theatres this 2015. It is a movie rendition of one of the most successful young adult novel series ever, but is anticipated to be a blockbuster hit like those previous movies of "The Hunger Games" franchise. Despite quiet announcements on its trailer and updates, the fourth movie will be released in November 15 and release its trailer in theatres worldwide on the showing of "Avengers: Age of Ultron".
Although "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is the last movie rendition of Suzanne Collins' "The Hunger Games" novel series, Lionsgate are putting in efforts to make it possible to add another addition to the novel series and transform it into a prequel. Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer is reported to extending the HG franchise to cope with enormous demands from fans to continue the series. Furthermore, since it has been quite a successful project for the production company, there might be several changes to the plot of the story to conform to a possible additional franchise.
THE PLOT
Although fans of the novel series already have a glimpse on how the movie will end wherein Peeta and Katniss will eventually end up together, reports surfaced that Lionsgate might add more romantic scenes between Gale and Katniss.
Those who have seen "The Hunger Game: Mockingjay Part 2" already knows that the spark of romance between Gale and Katniss went cold upon the death of the latter's sister, Prim. Part two is supposed to show that eventually, the characters Katniss and Peeta are destined to be together by the end. However, since Lionsgate is planning on an additional end-story, will they expound the romance between Gale and Katniss to inspire another movie franchise?
Mockingjay Part 2 is currently under production as few more 'real' scenes are to be shot and a couple of tweaks and sound effects to be incorporated before its release into the big screen, announced director Francis Lawrence during a press conference at ComiCon.
RELEASE DATE
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" has been quiet on updates as to when they would release the movie's trailer and any changes that the movie might defer from the novel version. However, reports also indicate that Lionsgate is planning to take advantage of the forecasted success of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" success rate and release the trailer then to gain the movie more attention.
Despite the production's many secrets and keeping things quiet about the movie, at least they announced the release date of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" movie on November 18 of this year.
