EXO-M Tao’s Dad says Son’s Health First as Fame Can Wait: Will Tao Come Back to the K-Pop Group?

By

Fame can be tricky, EXO Tao's dad should know. Or make that EXO-M Tao's dad. The saga of Tao's rise to fame and how he had to take needed time away from fans has been nothing but epic. All the controversy swirling around the Chinese star has only served to fan the flames of his fame even more.

After his most daring performance where EXO-M Tao chose to go on with the show even when facing bodily pain, he has only endeared himself to fans even more. And today, there may be no letting up on his rise to superstardom. Granting he'd still come back to the spotlight.

Promotion Overdose

The soon-to-be-22 Tao born Huang Zitao in Qingdao, Shandong China has been practicing martial arts since early childhood. Must be the reason why he had some sort of a waist injury on the day EXO-M performed 'History' before a sold-out crowd.

However, things went from bad to worse as a jump only made him injure his legs in front of raging fans' eyes.

He chose to continue even when after the show he can't even walk by himself and had to be assisted. To the horrors of the fans.

A Father Speaks

But a father said enough is enough.

Tao's father pouring his heart over Weibo expressed his desire to pull out his son from the hands of his son's talent agency S.M. Entertainment.

He stipulates, "In the eyes of others, I should be very happy, a full family, my son is an idol, but how will they know the number of sleepless nights spent worrying about my son? This time I will do whatever it takes to bring Zi Tao back to heal his wounds. The night I went to Korea, the company talked to me about Zi Tao's future, saying that as promised from the start they would make a special team to enhance his performances, of course I was happy to hear all these details," notes Koreaboo.

Naturally, the father had to square off with S.M. Entertainment wanting to free his son from the clutches of the talent agency.

He went on to attack the South Korean entertainment outfit saying, ""Zi Tao did not get the company's support, instead only returned with an injured body, in that case, what was all our perseverance from the start worth? I decided to bring Zi Tao home for treatment, only to get noticed that we missed the ideal treatment period."

Now, it seems S.M Entertainment has a lot of explaining to do. And fans are left on their toes, watching closely how things unfold.

Rather than kill his fame, for now, the controversy has only made Tao's popularity shoot up.

But the bigger question remains: Will Tao ever come back?
