The Upcoming Star Wars Battlefront release dated November 17 will allow players to play as heroes, villains, and use vehicles during the multiplayer matches.
According to reports, similar to Star Wars: Battlefront 2, the upcoming first person shooting with a space based combat Star Wars Battlefront player will be able to play characters such as Darth Vader, Boba Fett, or a space craft.
"Darth Vader appeared in an Endor Bunker, wielding his lightsaber and deflecting Rebel blaster shots, and choked an enemy before hurling him into a wall. Boba Fett brings his blaster and jetpack to the battlefield, as well...that the Millennium Falcon -- and perhaps other iconic space craft -- can join in on aerial combat," reports IGN describing a gameplay demo at Star Wars Celebration,
Each hero has traits that are unique to them, where, for example, you can become the boss of the battle if you want. "You want to be the first thing everyone wants to take down, because you're super powerful. If someone spawns on the other side as a hero, there will be a clash of giants, of sorts," IGN added.
"You can storm in as the Dark Lord himself...or you can wield a lightsaber...You can Force choke the rebel scum, which is fun. Basically, you are the boss of the battle. This means that you, as Vader, can lead your team to victory - if you play well," said design director Niklas Fegraeus via VG247.
Star Wars Battlefront is a combination of a first person shooting with a space based combat and it is a third main entry in the Star Wars: Battlefront series which is EA's major first-person shooter for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
Leak of the Star Wars Battlefront release date came out recently from the official Star Wars website source code revealed to be on November 17, 2015 for all platforms.
