The Elder Scrolls 6 has not been bringing a ton of announcements lately. However, the internet is sprawling with rumors, and even hopes, as to what the game will be like and when it will likely be released.
While these may not reveal so much, it would still be good to have an idea where the game stands as of the moment. First off, Master Herald reports that Bethesda made a leak that the game will be out on March 2016, where more information would be reported during the E3 press conference in June.
As for the setting, the game is rumored to start in Argonia; and from there, more areas could be covered such as Akavir, based on Movie Pilot, a land of violence which is occupied by four different races.
On the other hand, a more tangible game that players would want to hear about would be The Elder Scrolls Online. It was released last year as Zenimax Online Studios' The Elder Scrolls Online, but did not fare well with attracting followers.
Fortunately, the game took its chance to change for the better, where it is now rebranded with the name The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. One of the things that changed is that the subscription fee was finally removed.
GamingBolt shares an interview with TES director Matt Firor to lay down some facts on how the game has developed from past versions such as Oblivion as well as Skyrim. In terms of the game's life span, Firor is confident that TES Online will be able to thrive for years as long as many players continue to support the game.
While there is no more subscription fee, players can be ESO Plus members when they pay the optional monthly fee. This will entitle them to 1500 Crowns every month, which could be used in the Crown Store for various enhancements like vanity pets, costumes, and mounts.
A beta of the Tamriel Unlimited has already been available for a demo, where it showed its impressive sense of accessibility and ease of gameplay, according to PushSquare. The PS4 beta was easy on the controls, and it had elements which combined the typical MMO and Skyrim, resulting in an interestingly addictive playtime.
The Elder Scrolls 6 still has a long road ahead for its development. Nevertheless, TES Online: Tamriel Unlimited is definitely good enough to look forward to this year.
