The latest addition to the Batman: Arkham Knight title promises us with playable allies who can help Batman keep the streets of Gotham city crime-free. The gameplay is also revamped, with the new 'Dual Play" feature added.
As Warner Bros Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios prepare to launch the latest addition to the Batman: Arkham Knight franchise, they have released trailers that confirm allies will be able to help out Batman clean up Gotham city. Confirmed allies are familiar faces Catwoman, Nightwing, and Robin.
Of course, being able to get additional help from these skilled characters also means that the game will not be a walk in the park. It has been hinted that Scarecrow will be a little bit more than Batman himself can handle in this game, and the Arkham Knight? It's been reported that he's forming some sort of army to take over Gotham City.
With the game's new "Dual Play" feature, players can switch between Batman and any chosen ally to play the game. This is very helpful as there are times when Batman gets trapped when fighting the formidable Scarecrow or the Arkham Knight himself, having an ally to call on can make crime-fighting a lot less stressful for the Caped Crusader. Plus, players can switch controls, so when you find yourself (as Batman) backed into an alley with no way out, just switch to any of your allies and help out the main man.
Aside from the game's more complex story and the exciting FreeFlow Combat mode, another thing that's thrilling fans and gamers is the fact that players can now fully use the Batmobile. Yes, you can drive the Batmobile and switch modes, too. From a high-speed car chase mode when driving through Gotham traffic and chasing bad guys, to full military grade combat mode when it's time to face the Arkham Knight's army.
Very little details have been confirmed by either Warner Bros Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios, but they have confirmed that Batman: Arkham Knight will debut on June 23, 2015.
