Apple has just seeded a new beta releases of its OS X 10.10.4. It is said to be the second beta for developers, but it will become available for public testing as well. The latest OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 beta appears to bring under-the-hood updates to boost performance. Of course it also brings fixes to bugs that have been found during the first beta releases.
No change log for OS X 10.10.4 has been released yet. However, Mac users can expect bug fixes and some improvements for faster and more stable operations. Apparently, many of the interesting add-ons have been included to the OS X 10.10.3, namely the Photos app, video glitch as well as 300 new emojis.
The Photos app has been an excellent surprise since its better for the users to view images on Mac. Furthermore, Apple also extended its support to the NVM Express protocol that increases the functionality of SSDs. Apple believes that OS X is beyond mature. Then again, they still consider to have a huge room for improvement.
Registered testers, can download the OS X 10.10.4 beta build 14E11f through Apple's Developer Portal, especially for those who have the Configuration Utility installed.They can also obtain a copy download the new beta, through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store or through the Mac Developer Center. Of course, since operating system is beta, it is often advised for users to back up their files before proceeding with any installation.
Besides the latest OS X beta release, Apple has also released a beta build of the iOS 8.4. However, unlike the OS X, the operating system will only apply on smaller devices like the iPad and the iPhone. Apple will be making more of the announcement about the new beta releases of their devices and operating systems.
