Fans all over the world trended Dragon Ball Super on April 29 midnight heating up the most anticipated return of the classic "Dragon Ball Weekly TV Series" in Japan after 18 long years.
It will commence in July 2015 and long - time fans all over the world expressed their excitement on Twitter verbalizing their feelings of being a child again.
The last Dragon Ball TV series was shown in 1996 and 1997 with "Dragon Ball GT". This then leaves some fans in dismay on why "Dragon Ball" creator Akira Toriyama never bothered to resume from there.
However this did not wither the joy of the many adults who were once-children fans to anticipate the promised TV series that will surely bring the audience in nostalgia once it airs.
Not only the fans but the production staff themselves are beaming smiles with the return of the global favorite anime brand that is seen in over 70 countries, selling over 230 million copies of its comic books, claiming its reign as one of the most popular anime series of all time.
Fuji TV producer Osamu Nozaki spoils the fans stating that, "As I read the plot [of the series] I've already received from Akira Toriyama, my dreams for this begin to expand. An enemy even stronger than Buu or Freeza may appear..." leaving the loyal followers to crave for more teasers.
On the other hand, Masako Nozawa, the Japanese voice actress of Son Goku, Son Gohan, and Son Goten sighs in contentment as she tells Toei Animation that, "I've used the word 'cho' (super) in so many commercials, games and other media, it is fantastic that the long awaited Dragon Ball Super will finally begin." coming from Kanzenshuu News.
"Dragon Ball Super" is expected to air in the small screen this July and will run as a weekly series at 9:00 AM on Fuji TV, replacing the time slot of the "Dragon Ball Kai TV series".
Just like the past editions, the story and characters will be developed by the Original Manga Author Akira Toriyama himself and the characters will be led by veteran voice actress Masako Nozawa.
