Robert Downey Jr calls Krishnan Guru-Murthy a “bottom-feeding muckracker” as host defends show; Actor to walk out of Iron Man 4?

Actor Robert Downey Jr. called Channel 4 host Krishnan Guru-Murthy names after the latter asked a sensitive question during an interview in London last week. This despite that Murthy has already made an earlier statement on the issue. Meanwhile, there is no final confirmation yet if Downey will still be Iron Man in its fourth installment.

IRON MAN'S REVENGE

In a radio show in the US on Tuesday, a report said Robert Downey Jr. called Krishnan Guru-Murthy as a "bottom-feeding muckcracker". Last week, Downey walked out while on a promotional tour for his movie The Avengers: Age of Ultron where he plays as Ironman. This after the Channel 4 host asked him about his past imprisonment for drugs, alcohol use and his relationship with his father Robert Downey Sr. He told Howard Stern, the radio interviewer, that Murthy is more than likely a "syphilitic parasite" and he needs to stay away from the "clown". He said he should have walked out earlier.

Murthy has already made a statement saying that they do not solely do promotional interview in their news. He said they have agreed with PR people to talk about the movie but they are also free to discuss about other issues. The interviewee could also choose not to answer if he does not want to, he said.

IRON MAN STILL?

Meanwhile, Robert Downey is currently busy promoting his latest movie The Avengers: Age of Ultron, which was just shown in theatres last week. The question is, will he still be Iron Man in the separate movie which is already on its fourth instalment? It has been reported since last year that Downey will still be Iron Man in the fourth part of the movie. However, there is no latest confirmation on it again as recent reports have said that he may no longer reprise his role as Tony Stark. A report though says that RDJ has confirmed that it is something he is open to. This means the possibility is still there.

Fans could only wait and hope that Robert Downey Jr. will not walk out as Tony Stark in Iron Man 4.
