Marvel Universe and Telltale Games are coming together to produce one huge console game. This game is to be released in 2017, and details are hush hush, although there are already a few speculations as to what it could be.

In a press event last Friday, Marvel Comics execs announced a massive collaboration with Telltale Games for a console game to be released in 2017. This announcement has been the only one confirmed yet, as there wasn't any hint on what Marvel movie or comic book will get the game treatment. But that leaves us with a ton of possibilities, considering that Marvel has been one, if not the biggest, comic book names there is. And that's not all. The company has successfully conquered the movie world as well, what with all the successful comic book movie adaptations under their belt.

If one has to guess, it could be from any of the movies Marvel is set to release until 2017. This includes the new Spider-Man movie. And how about all the others lined up for release between now and 2017? We have X-Men: Apocalypse, Thor: Ragnarok, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and a whole lot more. Any of these titles could become a big hit in the console gaming industry.

Telltale Games is not one to shy away from big titles with their games, too. And they have some games that are based on comic books. Some of the more popular ones include The Walking Dead from the Image Comics, and The Wolf Among Us from the comic books of Vertigo. Telltale Games is known for producing games with story-driven gameplay and adventures.

With great credentials for both Marvel Comics and Telltale Games, this collaboration for a game could be of epic proportions. But until 2017, we are all left in the dark regarding this.
