From the start of 'The Blacklist' season 2, Red has been on a treacherous mission to find the Fulcrum to stay alive. The top secret information about it was exposed during the previous episode, and he had to look for a way to keep out of danger as several important people who are not happy with the revelations begin to haunt him down together with FBI Agent Liz Keen.
Liz, on the other hand, remains to be suspicious about his real intentions, and he may not trust her either after she used the Fulcrum to her advantage to stop the NCS director from attacking the warehouse where she was treating Red's gunshot wounds.
'The Blacklist' season 2 latest spoilers exposed that Red must be used to dangerous scenario but Liz is not. The last episode saw her saving Red and by doing so, she revealed herself to the evil Cabal. Now, it made her one of the targets that they would like to destroy.
As per synopsis of 'The Blacklist' season 2 of episode 21 titled 'Quon Zhang', "After decoding the information that is embedded in The Fulcrum, Red (James Spader) is determined to stop the imminent threat. Meanwhile, the task force discovers that deceased bodies of Chinese-American women are being smuggled out of the country under false identities. Liz (Megan Boone) continues to search for answers about her past after discovering a picture hidden in Red's secret flat."
Meanwhile, Liz is going to face a sort of conflict in the 'The Blacklist' season 2 finale episode. According to the latest press release via NBC, she could be the subject of a frame job this time by the Cabal, and she is forced ultimately to rely on Red, to make sure nothing happens to her and to clear her name.
