Spartan Locke is revealed in "Halo 5: Guardians" via the recently released covert art last week creating excitement to die-hard fans of the game series. Microsoft published several pieces of arts last week as a tease for the upcoming big reveal yesterday. The striking and mesmerizing cover art offers a new look and an interesting new world compared to the earlier versions of "Halo."
Meanwhile, Master Chief will be sharing the spot light this time around in "Halo 5: Guardians" as Spartan Locke enters the world of "Halo." In the recent cover art reveal, Chief is joined by a rookie named Spartan Locke, dubbed to be a significant character in "Halo 5: Guardians", which also happens to be available for gameplay in some of the portions of the video game.
The cover art also revealed several other Spartans besides Locke, both acting as support characters for Locke and Chief. According to Microsoft via Xbox Wire, "these Spartan soldiers will play a crucial role in the showdown between the Master Chief and Spartan Locke. The two is set to be battling against each other in "Halo 5: Guardians" as the game is released this coming October 2015.
Unfortunately, Microsoft wants to increase the hype for the game and leave their fans wanting for more. That is why the company states that information about the new characters included in the "Halo 5: Guardians" will be revealed by summer in the Microsoft E3 presentation slated for June.
The "Halo 5: Guardians" will be available in Windows 8/8.1, Windows Phone 8/8.1. iPhone, iPad and Steam. The achievements feature for the "Halo 5: Guardians" will be available on Windows 8/8.1 and Windows Phone 8/8.1 while touch based controls will be available on touch operated gaming consoles. Microsoft announced the release of the "Halo 5: Guardians" last March. The video game will be released on October 2015 this year. Several new Spartans are expected to be revealed in the upcoming E3 this June.
