"Attack on Titan Live-Action" English subtitled trailer has been released on Tuesday April 21 by Madman Entertainment announcing in its Facebook Page that the movie will screen on theaters across Australia and New Zealand.
The official trailer has been previously released in Japan on April 17. On the same day, "Attack on Titan" official website also released the poster for the film and its sequel "Attack on Titan: End of the World" that is scheduled to premiere on September 19 of this year in Japan.
The first part of the movie will hit cinemas in Japan on August 1, 2015.
Although Australian Distributor Madman Entertainment revealed the subtitled film to debut in Australia and New Zealand, no exact date has been officially announced other than it will be shown this year.
Meanwhile, fans of the manga from the United States heave a cry for the film anticipating for the live action's debut. As of date, no word has gotten out whether it would even be shown in the country.
The manga has long been one of the top Anime in the West after "Evangelion" and "Cowboy Bebop".
"Attack on Titan" Anime Film has been released in the US on June 3, 2014 which was dubbed in English and was well - received even by pickier critics.
The story basically revolves around the battle between humans and the giant beasts called the Titans, who are feasting on human flesh. A young boy named Eren Yeager , played by Haruma Miura, is struggling to change humanity's fate. The surprising twist is he can also turn into a beast.
"Attack on Titan" was originally created by Hajime Isayama who also supervises the film in talk and its sequel movie which will work from the very the world and characters of the original manga series, with the addition of new enemies with impressive strengths.
FUNimation who brought the dubbed Anime version in the US last year has not yet given statement on the plans of releasing "Attack on Titan Live - Action" in the country this year.
