The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Xbox One, PS4 day one patch will be serving gamers with an intense and hefty experience, especially with the amount of data that the game uses.
A number of fans of the game were fortunate enough to try the closed beta which was opened from April 23 to 27. This was quite the opportunity as the scope was not in any way limited. The players were able to scour through all the maps the game had to offer after they downloaded it.
ZeniMax Online has provided a concise description of the TES Online: Tamriel Unlimited which will be useful for all eager players to know.
They explain, prior to the unrestricted demo, "With the console beta just around the corner, we're sure everyone is interested to know the size of the game client in order to get your hard drives ready. ESOTU is an incredibly massive game, both in terms of sheer scope and the data required to bring you this truly enormous experience."
The developer, then, gets into specific values, "At the moment, the client will exceed a 50GB Blu-ray disc which means there will also be a large day-one patch that is somewhere in the region of 15GB."
As cumbersome as that may sound, it all the more implies how rich the quality and extent of the game is bound to become. The release date of the console version for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is set on the 9th of June. This will give fans plenty of time to figure out how they will manage the bulky download.
However, if the retail version is purchased, only an additional 15GB would be needed for download for the person to start playing.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Xbox One, PS4 day one patch are available for pre-order in the PS Store in the North American region. The European set will follow shortly. It should also be noted that a 10 percent discount will be given to current PS Plus members.
