Kanye West Insists Tidal is Not Illuminati

By

Mere months after launching it, Kanye West puts out word assuring the public their newest pet project Tidal, one started mainly by Jay-Z as a major alternative to mainstream Spotify, is not in any way associated with the mysterious secret society Illuminati.

However, even when Kim Kardashian's hubby is adamant about it all making clear that neither he nor any of his co-investors, nor the company itself is related to the Illuminati, rumors and speculations about it spread even more.

And adding to the fire, Jay-Z recently hosted a huge press conference in New York City in celebration of Tidal, his latest venture that cost him $56.2 million, notes Business Insider.

Again, the big event draw flak especially from Complex who went to dub it "the most lit Illuminati gathering."

Wanting to clear things up, West in an interview with Paper Magazine, delved well into Tidal and it's rumored bad label saying:

"I heard a comment - a joke - about the Tidal press conference being an Illuminati moment. If there was actually an Illuminati, it would be more like the energy companies. Not celebrities that gave their life to music and who are pinpointed as decoys for people who really run the world. I'm tired of people pinpointing musicians as the Illuminati."

For the uninitiated, Illuminati is reportedly bent on controlling world affairs by utilizing a slew of methods that are covert employing the media, world's banks and in this case music icons of the highest kind.

In a last ditch effort to clarify his stance, the 37-year-old Kanye West employed Madonna as an example, reports the Inquistr.

"We don't run anything; we're celebrities. We're the face of brands. We have to compromise what we say in lyrics so we don't lose money on a contract. Madonna is in her 50s and gave everything she had to go up on an award show and get choked by her cape. She's judged for who she adopts. F*k all of this sensationalism. We gave you our lives. We gave you our hearts. We gave you our opinions!"

To date, Tidal has not really caught on, though it's still too early to tell.

However, initial public response is not very reassuring even when Jay-Z has made sure to gather a slew of huge names in the music industry - his wife including.

Perhaps, people are just wary of an online streaming service that collects a fee or perhaps the Illuminati rumors have a lot to do with the lack of positive response.

True, these things need to be brought out into the light. The truth seem illusive even when Kanye West spoke up.
