During the previous episode of 'Modern Family', Alex was in spotlight when she swept up almost all the academic awards in school. But this week, she will find out that she needs to share the title of Valedictorian with her biggest rival, as what episode 22 titled "Patriot Games" indicate.

Newest 'Modern Family' Season 6 spoilers revealed that Alex is pretty confident to graduate at the top of her class just like she always had dreamed. Unfortunately, she learns that her rival Sunjay has managed to match her grades. Alex would never accept sharing the top spot with anyone, and so Sunjay. Sharing the biggest honor in school is a worst nightmare for her.

When Claire and Phil Dunphy knew this, they decide to get involved. But Sunjay's parents are also determined that there can only be one Valedictorian. 'Modern Family' Season 6 episode 22 synopsis exposed that the issue will be settled through a one-mile run that Alex and Sunjay would compete.

Meanwhile, other latest report for 'Modern Family' revealed that Season 7 might not happen. In recent interview, Sofia Vergara who plays Latina beauty Gloria, told that ending is indeed "inevitable." Vergara added that she is very sad because it's her "favorite thing to do of work." She ended, "I'm going to be very sad."

Previously, 'Modern Family' co-creator Steve Levitan told Deadline last month that they don't have concrete plans on how to end the series. They will just keep going, but if they have the gut to stop the show, they would have to.
