Four leaked photos of the season 3 of Starz and Fox's most awaited series, Da Vinci's demons started to surface the internet last April 30 (Thursday) giving hints to the fans of the show that indeed another season is fast approaching.
The season 3 is said to revolve around the invasion of Ottoman and the clash and reunion of the characters. Season 2 two ended with a revelation from Piero that the adviser of their incoming enemies is no other that his long lost mother who he doesn't have any memories of.
Executive producer John Shiban revealed some details about season 3 stating that the development of the characters is their main focus. Adding that he wanted the people to understand the recent story without depending to the previous season to understand the recent episode.
Da Vinci's demons revolve around the early life of Leonardo as he finds himself in between the rivalry of both Pazzi and Medici family. The story also follows Leonardo as he on his journey to look for the book of leaves.
The series also features a cult named Son of Mithras, which Leonardo will encounter on his journey. Furthermore Writer, producer and co-director of the show David S. Goyer described the show as a show about secret histories, genius, madness and all things profane.
Although the series is labeled as historical fantasy and contains elements of fantasy, it maintains accuracy on historical events that happened around the time of Leonardo Da Vinci.
Da Vinci's demons got its go signal for another season after a 100% favorable rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an average rating of 7.8/10. Season 3 will consist 10 episodes and will air sometime in 2015.
