Michael Bay Tweets Photo Of Stephen Amell In All His "Casey Jones" Glory

By

Blockbuster movie director Michael Bay is truly empathetic with all his endeavors. Despite still not being the man behind the camera for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Half Shell, Bay who is the producer of the film boasted an intimidating image of Stephen Amell ( TV's Arrow) in all his Casey Jones glory.

The Twitter post which has been retweeted almost 1,500 times shows hockey-masked Jones, perhaps one of the most enigmatic human characters in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles canon with a dumpster in the backdrop. Out of the blue, a fan can immediately determine the absence in Amell's shoulder of the customary golf bag that the vigilante places his assortment of weapons which includes baseball bats, golf clubs, cricket bats and hockey sticks.

Amell himself has long been in familiar terrain with vigilante roles with his ongoing portrayal of billionaire turned city protector Arrow in the aforementioned The CW series 'Arrow', which is now being renewed for a fourth season. The actor himself also went to social media a few weeks back, seeking out a hockey mask in declaration that he has nabbed the role of the stealth vigilante.

Casey Jones is established to be a love interest/fiancée of April O'Neil in the Turtles fandom. Rumor has it that Amell and returning cast Megan Fox who portrays the gutsy reporter always looking for a scoop, had an outstanding chemistry during Amell's audition, so it won't be far-fetch that they will include a romantic angle in the premise for the upcoming movie.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Half Shell is directed by Dave Green and is written by Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec. The film also stars Will Arnett, William Fitcher, Brian Tee, Tyler Perry and Laura Linney. Principal photography started in April 27, 2015 in New York City and is scheduled to be released in cinemas on June 3, 2016.
