Though this may not be the first time, this could be the biggest One Piece live-action spectacular yet to be presented in Japan.

Universal Studios will be rolling the One Piece live action on its Waterworld stage. Like previous reincarnations, the show will be less on stunt but more on performance.

Performances in previous years were so diverse it came with accompanying merchandise sold at various gift shops, character statues for selfie backgrounds and even One Piece-themed food. To top all that there were water gun battles and face-painting.

In total, Universal Studios will be hosting 73 performances during the span from July 3 to September 30. Like before, this will come at a price.

AnimeNewsNetwork.com reports tickets will be on sale on the 25th of May and could be fetched between 1980 to 4980 yen ($16 to $41).

To facilitate the event, Universal Studios has made available a website complete with a video preview to show fans what to expect this time around.

In hindsight, it was but in March that One Piece got its official theme park inside the Tokyo Tower in Japan. Not to be outdone, it was laced with every fans dream stuffs from a One Piece-inspired resto to original merchandise.

Even when One Piece is already on its 20th year, it is still immensely popular going down in history as one of the most loved manga/anime characters of all time. All the successful attractions including this latest One Piece live action is proof to that.
