Last of Us, Naughty Dogs' crowning masterpiece of 2013 now gets a new standalone DLC called "Left behind," for the PS3 and PS4. The DLC show events leading up to the main Last of Us storyline, which revolves on Ellie, the game's young female protagonist and her friend Riley.
The Last of Us has gained the approval and praise of almost all game critics because of its wonderful and engaging storyline. IGN gives it a 10/10 star rating, while Metacritic scores it a perfect 5. Now that the game has become legend, Naughty Dog plans to take advantage of this and release a standalone DLC to expand the game's already riveting story.

However, many fans of the series do not recommend newbies to the Last of Us experience as the main game is now relatively cheaper, though the PS4 remastered version is priced at $49.99 at GameStop.
In other news, a fan-made video using cutscenes from the Last of Us game was beautifully made and posted on YouTube. Grant Voegtle's "cinematic playthrough" became the talk of the town as it gives non-gamers the chance to appreciate the wonderful story that made the game a stunning success. Episodes are posted on Voegtle's channel and many are thanking him for bringing the game's best pieces together and showing it seamlessly to the world.
