"Chicago Fire" wasted no time introducing its avid fans and viewers to the team of "Chicago P.D." and "Law & Order: SVU" in last week's crossover episode of the hit NBC drama. Now, "Chicago Fire" will be airing another exciting episode as the fire squad is called to a church when a medical emergency takes place.
According to EcumenicalNews, the sneak peek clip of episode 22 entitled, "Category 5" revealed that the firefighters will deal with a woman who fainted at a wedding. Towards the end of the clip, they found out that the woman may have taken medication for blood pressure.
However, the situation at the church will not be the only thing the Chicago firefighters will be dealing with in the next episode. SpoilersGuide's description of the episode says that Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) will agree to go undercover to prove Jack Nesbitt's (guest star Eric Mabius) shady dealings. After much urging by Sgt. Voight (guest star Jason Beghe), Casey takes up the case, putting his life at risk while snooping around.
Meanwhile, Otis (Yuri Sardarov) and Severide (Taylor Kinney) continue to disagree about Scott Rice's (Warren Christie) integrity, creating tension to rise between the members of the group. Other than that, Hermann (David Eigenberg) will assist a co-member of the firehouse.
LatinPost says that the forthcoming episode of "Chicago P.D." will show Lindsay (Sophia Bush) blaming herself for Nadia's (Stella Maeve) death after being killed across state lines in New York City by suspected killer Greg Yates which took place during the crossover episode last week.
"Chicago Fire" and "Chicago P.D." executive producer Matt Olmstead said Nadia's character won't be "dismissed by a little pep talk or a night out drinking."
The exciting episode aired for the fans of "Chicago Fire" is the penultimate episode of Season 3 and will set stage for the finale episode which will focus around Casey's deeper investigation into Nesbitt's dealings; Boden's effort to unite the divided squad; Severide's questions on his own judgment; a warehouse blaze threat to the members of Firehouse 51; and Dawson's life-changing news.
Chicago Fire Season 3's season finale entitled "Spartacus" is set to air next Tuesday, May 12 on NBC.
