'5 Seconds Of Summer' Update: Tour Continues; Girlfriend Drama Rumors Are Jeopardizing 5SOS New Album

By

"5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS)" recently announced that their Australia tour will push through as they teased their fans that they are releasing their second album. However, the drama about their girlfriends are said to be jeopardizing this band's milestone.

The Australian leg of the band's concert tour entitled "Rock Out With Your Socks Out" will begin on June 18 at the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. It is followed by the performance at the Allphones Arena in Sydney on June 20.

5 Seconds of Summer will also perform at the Entertainment Centre in Brisbane by June 23. "5SOS" will also entertain their fans on June 25 at the Rod Laver Arena and will be in Adelaide by June 27. The band's last stop will be in Perth at the Perth Arena on June 29.

Despite the success of the band's concert tour, reports have emerged saying that the girlfriends' of the band's members, specifically Ashton Irwin and Calum Hood, are distracting their boyfriends causing the delay in the release of the new album. Bryana Holly and Jennifer Phipps are said to be very distractive.

Luke Hemmings is reportedly the one trying to keep Irwin and Hood's heads in the game but he is struggling to keep his co-members focused. Hemmings is single as of the moment but is said to be linked to Aleisha McDonald and has shown interest on pop singer Selena Gomez. Hemmings shared last month that he wanted to stick to the band's "no girlfriends" rule but he cannot stop them from breaking their original promise.

As for Michael Clifford, the guitarist of the 5 Seconds of Summer, he shared during the iHeartRadio Music Awards that they are trying to finish the album in order to give the best to their fans. He shared that they are recording it now and that they will release it when the time is right without giving away any information as to the real date of the release.

"5SOS" also announced that the band State Champs will be joining them in their Australia tour. State Champs is a new band in the pop-punk scene and fans of "5SOS" have been tweeting and making them trend online.

"5SOS" will be continuing with their tour and they have not yet announced if their new album will be released while they are on tour or if their tour is already finished.
