"Tron 3" is not yet on the works regarding the production but Hollywood actress Olivia Wilde, who will be playing the character of Quorra, shared that the plot is something different than the first two films.
According to Olivia Wilde, the science fiction film will be focusing on Quorra being out in the real world but it will still pick up from where the second installment of the franchise entitled "Tron: Legacy" left off. Wilde was able to get a copy of the script and she shared the plot is definitely something to watch out for.
The actress shared in a recent interview, "I'm really excited to see what happens to that character when put into the real world. I think it's an interesting concept. I'm fascinated by all discussions of AI, and especially now today and now with virtual reality becoming something that's like a personal device, I think it's the time to tell this story."
Aside from Wilde, actor Garett Hedlund will also be reprising his role as Sam in the movie "Thor 3." Wilde shared in the interview that aside from Quorra, Sam will also be with the character as they explore the real world.
Wilde added that since the plot was already established, they might be filming soon this year. The film is being anticipated to be released by 2017 as many fans of "Tron 3" are expecting the movie to hit the cinemas by then although no assurance or information has been released yet.
The actress shared that the delay was because the producers of the film could not decide what the right angle is for the third installment. However, rumors that "Tron 3" will be cancelled has been slammed by Wilde and noted that it is happening and no other setbacks are being faced by the cast and crew.
As for the cast, Jeff Bridges is not yet a permanent fixture of the cast. No other details regarding the actors and actresses for "Tron 3" have been revealed.
"Tron 3" is a film to be produced by Disney but no release date has been announced yet. Rumors emerged previously that the title for this installment might be "Tron: Ascension" although no confirmation about this was given out. What do you guys think about this sequel's plot? Sound off below.
