After struggling between coping up with the loss of one of the team and solving a bombing incident in the last week's thrilling episode of NBC's "Chicago P.D.", the hit drama is now ready to air another episode with a bigger investigation as the squad races a stop to a group of highly motivated killers from striking again while Burgress try not to affect her relationship with Ruzek because of her promotion.

"Chicago P.D." might still have its fans grieving after Chicago Fire-Chicago P.D.-Law & Order: SVU crossover week's tragic incident. However, District 21 is forced to set aside their personal feelings when multiple people are shot inside an athletic club.

SpoilerGuide's description of the next episode entitled "Push The Pain Away" says that the team works to find and take down the shooters before there's any more victims. When they discover that all the targets were from the same law firm, it's apparent that it is a case of corporate revenge. Now they need to find out what the motive for these killings.

Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) will be dealing with his new assignment, while doing so, he plays a key role in locating the shooters. Meanwhile, Platt (Amy Morton) and Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) are trying to approach Lindsay (Sophia Bush) to see how she's coping with a recent death.

Other than those thrilling happenings, one more event is said to affect another member of the team in the final episodes of "Chicago P.D." Entertainment Weekly recently reported that after Atwater (Hawkins) makes a critical mistake in last week's episode "That's My Girl", Voight (Jason Beghe) demotes him and bumps Burgess (Marina Squerciati) up to Intelligence.

"It affects Ruzek because they're dating," "Chicago P.D." and "Chicago Fire" executive producer Matt Olmstead says. "She knows she's just keeping the seat warm for Atwater until he gets brought back up. Just to get a taste of what she hopes to get one day is very satisfying to her."
