Mirror's Edge 2, the beloved sequel loved by fans since 2008, will be scheduled for release by fourth quarter next year. The launching will cover different sets of platforms, both consoles and PC. EA confirmed that the game will add several cool and exciting features to the gameplay.

Since EA announced that Mirror's Edge will be developed and released sometime during the E3 game press convention last year, a lot of their fans have been hyped with the exact date of release and was also enthralled to the features to cover for the game.

Previously, it was also already revealed that the Mirror's Edge sequel will contain first-person combatting that sounded like the "nightmare by-product of a dark, alternate timeline" as described by one of the reports published online. Karl Magnus, DICE general manage said that by having the first-person fighting all throughout the gameplay will be a hint that it would be like that in the next game installments in the future.

According to him, it is not that bad to design the game just like that. After all, what the game developer was looking for is a more refined and improved gaming style from their first awkward fisticuffs.

What the fans could expect from this type of fighting style in Mirror's Edge 2 is that it would be much quicker sets of takedown moves and at the same time it also suggests engagement with their enemies through a less harmful momentum while doing the free-running flow of the game.

Vital mechanics are also made emphasized in this part. That would also serve as the main game design for Mirror's Edge 2 apart from the usual combatting system of the other amazing titles. Likewise the manner they did for the successful prequel with more colorful style featured while having a freedom of the movements among the characters in the game.

These are among of the cool features that will be installed or covered by EA in the upcoming game, Mirror's Edge 2 in PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
