Breaking Bad Update: Show's Favorite Restaurant 'Los Pollos Hermanos' Might Become A Real Deal

"Better Call Saul" is the new favorite of "Breaking Bad" fans but it is currently working on its second season so fans should listen up to this new report. There might be a new place where the enthusiasts of this show could hang out at as the fictional "Los Pollos Hermanos" might actually become a real food chain.

According to the report, the creator of the show, Vince Gilligan, hinted in a recent question and answer interview via Reddit that the fiction-made fast food chain, which has become famous because of the show "Breaking Bad," might be created anytime soon. It might be a real restaurant that people can go to and eat at.

In the question and answer, Gilligan pointed out that a businessman talked to him about the idea of making the restaurant a real food chain. However, no other detail was released about when the food chain will start to be fully operational and where will the first branch be located at.

Here is his full answer: "Believe it or not...there is talk of a Pollos Hermanos becoming a real restaurant. This is not an idea that I generated personally. But it's one that's been presented to me, through the good folks at Sony, and the idea came to them from a businessman who has an interest in doing that."

Los Pollos Hermanos is the restaurant owned by "Breaking Bad's" bad guy Gustavo Fring. The restaurant is actually just a front as his chain of restaurants is actually a drug empire underneath. The Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant was actually a Twister joint and is located in South Valley, Albaquerque.

If and when this is to happen, Reddit members suggested to Giligan a list of things that should be in restaurant. They included a guy that looks like Walter White sitting alone in the restaurant and a set of mute twins in silver suits. The restaurant should also have the iconic ice cream covered with blue pop rocks that stemmed from "Breaking Bad."

"Breaking Bad" already ended after airing five seasons. However, there is a prequel to the show called "Better Call Saul" that first aired on February 8 this year. It is currently in its first season.

"Better Call Saul" is about Saul Goodman, the ace attorney of Walter White who has become his dealer overtime. "Better Call Saul" airs on Mondays in AMC but the second season is yet to be released.
