‘Terminator: Genisys’ Plot Spoilers: Can Wow Pyrotechnics Still Save the Heart of the Series?

By

"Terminator: Genisys" is coming out on cinemas two months later and fans of the franchise are increasingly getting restless over the outcome of the whole ambiguous plot that has left avid viewers of the past two releases flabbergasted.

"They should have kept it simple" is what fans utter upon hearing tidbits of the spoilers from the movie from outside sources who claimed knowing almost everything about the movie.

Mark Reilly of "Schmoes Know" previously spoiled the movie saying, "I have a very, very, very good source that has been right every time with stuff he or she has given me. And I know the whole movie of Terminator Genisys. I'm not going to spoil the movie. The real kind of scoop would ruin the movie."

Is it too late to save the series?

"I think it's going to be the last nail in the coffin in the franchise. The way that they are trying to spin a new take on the Terminator series is... I don't even think it looks good on paper. I know the ending. I know who the villain is. And it's out of left field," he concluded.

A fractured timeline in the plot creates more confusion to the followers of the movie since the first two "Terminators".

Sgt. Reese (played by Jai Courtney) apparently is sent to a completely new and vague past where he meets the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger back as T-800) to reset the future to avoid "Judgment Day", on which the fans logically rethink that it will be more like defeating Skynet.

However doomed the plot has gotten when it scurried away from the simplistic beginning, the fans are still anticipating the movie for what awesome pyrotechnics it could offer as a peace offering.

The final cast includes Sandrine Holt, J.K. Simmons, Byung-hun Lee, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Matt Smith, Michael Gladis, Emilia Clarke, and Dayo Okeniyi. The movie is directed by Alan Taylor while Patrick Lussier and Laeta Kalorgridis were the screen writers.

"Terminator: Genisys" is rumored to be set as trilogy which mostly will come true if the heart of the series still shows chances of revival after the movie comes out on July 1, 2015 in both 2D and 3D theaters worldwide.
